We use a functional maintenance concept of care which means we are committed to keeping each of our residents functioning at their highest level possible. Functional maintenance means providing care that assists the resident to reverse declines in the areas of daily self-care activities if possible, and to improve or maintain their very Highest Level of Functioning and Independence. Continuum of Care that combines therapies

enhance cognitive and motor skills - thus promoting the Highest Levels
of Self-Sufficiency, Self-Worth, Dignity and Self-Esteem, both
Socially and Physically. The results that have been achieved are
in some cases dramatic, and enable many residents to remain in their
present setting or progress from Extended Care / Nursing Home to
our less restrictive Assisted Living arrangement -
thus "aging them in place." The Social Concept is
based on the positives, focusing on wellness, enhancing the environment
to assist each resident to maintain or improve if possible, and to
prevent unnecessary declines. Our programs are designed to
individually enhance the "Quality of Life" of each resident.
Our Restorative Nursing and Functional Maintenance Programs have proven
