Our
HOSPITAL at Family Health West is
central to everything we do. It provides an extra level of support
for all facilities in our Continuum of Care and to
individuals in our community.
Our 10-bed Hospital is Small Enough to offer Very
Personalized Care, and is equipped to care for both acute care and
rehabilitating patients.
Services provided include:

Acute Care:
IV Therapy, Telemetry Monitoring, Tube Feeding,
Catheter Care, etc.

Medicare Skilled Nursing Services (Swing Beds):
Services are provided in our Hospital setting.
"When a patient is Not Quite Ready to Go Home but no
longer requires Hospital Acute Care, they can receive the necessary
rehabilitation services in our Hospital Swing Bed setting."
We provide the only Hospital-Based Medicare Skilled Nursing Services in
the Grand Valley area.

Physical Rehabilitation Therapy Services:
Physical, Speech, and Occupational Therapies
are available to
inpatients as well as to individuals of all ages in our community on an outpatient
basis. Our rehabilitation programs are designed to stem unnecessary declines
and promote "Quality of Life" and are tailored for
individuals to challenge and motivate them to increase or maintain
at their overall Highest Level of Functioning. We offer
excellent outpatient Physical Rehabilitation Therapy Services. LET
US HELP YOU RECOVER from injuries or surgery, such as knee or
shoulder injury / surgery.

Laboratory:
Our full service Lab is accredited by The
College of American Pathologists. We serve inpatients and
individuals of all
ages in the community on an outpatient basis. Our Lab is
staffed with Registered Medical Technologists who provide routine
and pre / post operative lab work in a friendly environment and with
quick service delivery.

X-Ray:
X-Ray Services are also available to
inpatients and to individuals of all ages in the community on an
outpatient basis. Our X-Ray Department is staffed by
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists who are Professionals with Big Hearts and Loving Hands.
Services
are convenient and prompt communication with physicians is delivered.

Emergency Room:
In addition to all the above-mentioned services, our
Continuum includes an Emergency Room that's ready to serve our
residents in-house, as well as individuals of all ages in our community.

Outpatient Services:
We offer Outpatient Services to individuals of
all ages in our community through our Physical Rehabilitation
Therapies, X-Ray and Laboratory Departments.

sources are accepted. As a courtesy, our Admissions / Billing
staff will bill insurance companies for patient services. |
