Expect Your Worries to be Relieved:  Anyone faced with the prospect of placing a loved one in a nursing home is confronted with a myriad of issues.  Not the least of which may be a feeling of guilt or inadequacy for having to rely on others to provide care.  Combine these feelings with the complexities of coordinating financial arrangements, medical assessments, responsible-party duties, and the paperwork that legally must be created - and the whole experience can be overwhelming.

Physician, Nursing and Social Service Assessments will help assure appropriate and efficient placement and treatment for each resident.  Family Health West's Nursing Home consists of two areas providing care on a 24-hour basis - an area - for nursing home care, and our Main Street - a Specialized Secure Alzheimer's Care area designed to stimulate Alzheimer's patients' long-term memories in a positive manner.

Our Social Model Programs are designed to provide a Family Environment, Enhance our Residents' Autumn Years, and Add Fun in their day. Our dedicated and energetic Activities Staff makes sure that there are a range of activities in which to participate.

There's also a locally owned physicians' clinic staffed with six physicians right next door!   In addition, Family Health West feels it's important to help educate individuals, families, and the community regarding the journey of Alzheimer's disease and Dementia.  Throughout the year we schedule Seminars and Support Groups to help our friends facing this devastating disease and the aging process.
