Family Health West has the Advantage of being a Smaller Facility offering Individualized, Convenient Outpatient Care with a Personal Touch.  Services are available to Individuals of All Ages in our Community.  All pay sources are accepted.  As a courtesy, our Admissions staff will bill insurance companies for patient services.

Our full service Lab is accredited by The College of American Pathologists.  Our Lab is staffed with Registered Medical Technologists who provide routine and pre / post operative lab work in a friendly environment and with quick service delivery.

»  X-RAY

Our X-Ray Department is also staffed by American Registry of Radiological Technologists who are Professionals with Big Hearts and Loving Hands.  Services are convenient and  prompt communication with physician is delivered.

»  THERAPY

Family Health West provides Outpatient Physical Rehabilitation Therapy Services - Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy.  A detailed evaluation is performed and goals are formulated with each individual patient.  Our individualized service includes rehabilitation following hospitalization, surgery, stroke, injury, etc. and treatment for existing functioning problems in the home or community environment such as communication disorders, swallowing disorders, impairment in activities of daily living, etc. Progress is monitored through re-assessment to determine when the goals are met and when the patient will be ready for discharge.

Our Physical Rehabilitation Therapy Services specialize in the rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries and diagnoses. Professional Therapists have orthopedic training as well as training in manual therapy, and geriatric and neurological rehabilitation.  Our caring staff members take time to explain the patient's injury and discuss the treatment program.  Our philosophy is to educate the patient and develop an independent home exercise program.  Patients who understand their injuries are more apt to progress faster.  We feel that exercise is an integral part of musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation.

Our Fruita Clinic will provide Urgent Health Care in partnership with St. Mary's Hospital of Grand Junction.   The Clinic will provide:

• After Hours Physician Services

• Laboratory Services

• X-Ray and Imaging Services

• Therapy Services to include Physical, Speech and Occupational Therapies.

Physicians will include members of Western Valley Family Practice, St. Mary's Hospital Medical Staff and other health care providers.
