Volunteers are a vital part of our Family at Family Health West.  Family Health West is successful because of our community's continued support and involvement.  Volunteers are part of everything we do - from caring for residents or helping with social activities to Add Fun in our Residents' Day, to helping in our offices or volunteering for our special fund-raising events.

There are many ways that you can help!

• Assist with our many activities offered in our Enhanced Social Model Activities Program.
• Help with special parties.
• Share your musical talents.  Our Residents Love Musical Entertainment.
• Sit and visit about current events; read letters, the newspaper or short stories; look at magazines; enjoy a cup of tea, etc.  Make eye contact, offer smiles and hugs.
• Take a walk together, enjoy the fresh air.
• Play chess, dominos, checkers, card games, etc.
• Plan a group religious service.
